In 2020, Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free agency. He quickly recruited Gronkowski to come out of retirement and join him in Florida via a trade. Though both were past their primes, Brady believed their chemistry and bond could still produce magic. And produce they did – leading Tampa Bay to a Super Bowl victory in their first season together.
At the ages of 43 and 32, Brady and Gronk added yet another championship to their collection. It was a fitting final chapter to one of the most accomplished duos in NFL lore.
